The Seventh Annual Core Run Swim Run was absolutely stellar! The water was warm and glassy for our plethora of competitors ranging in age from 10 to 71. We had our largest pool or racers to date - 123 signed up and 113 showed up and completed the race!

It ran so very smoothly thanks to all of your prayers and all of the help that we had from Firefighters Local Union 3605, Capitola Jr. Lifeguards Instructors, State Lifeguards, and many, many volunteers from our avid supporters. The Core Run Swim Run is possible ONLY because we have so much support from our tremendous volunteers!

The Core has a home! Thanks to Danny Keith, The Core Schpot has been created inside of Santa Cruz Skate Shop - 912 41^st Ave. - next door to Family Cycling Center. We have a whole portion of the front of SC Skate for our very own!!! Come check it out. We have a big screen TV with Xbox and plenty of games, lots of comfy couches, a snack machine, a pool table, and a foosball table.
You are welcome to hang out whenever SC Skate is open for business!
